Ok, enough of all that! Let's get hopping!!
When I think of summer I think of sitting around a campfire telling stories & roasting marshmallows for S'Mores!! That is the subject of my Summertime album today, but with a little twist...when these pix were taken (late summer), it was too wet & rainy to have a campfire! So we did them in the microwave!! Not quite the same, but still very yummy!!!

I also used the Filagree Rectangle Window 8x8 album (with the vertical window & top opening) for my project today...all in SU's Basically Black! Not your usual summer color, but it really makes the pictures pop!!
I covered the front with this fun polka dot (had to handcut the window opening!) & made the "roasting marshmallows" out of sticks & clay.
It's quite a quirky little album - most of the images I found online were silly & from the 50's...
Maggie as a Marshmallow Head! (inside 1st pg)
Investigating the S'more!! (Decorative Label for journaling)

I added a small page to show some facts & the recipe for S'mores

backside of 6x8 page

I love using full page photos!!!

Another great label used from CC&M

Don't ya love this ooey gooey shot!

The Filagree Rectangle Label!
had to show the "matches" I made w/copper Stickles up close!

I added an acetate page as an after-thought. But you can also order these with your albums!!

The Decorative Label again! I LOVE these things!!!

Finger-lickin' good!!
The Decorative Label again with copper Stickles!

Last page - inside of the cover

That's it for me today! I had a blast working on this album & all the memories it brought back from that night!
We (The Scrap-a-Teeny Girls) just love to work with mini-albums - It is such a great way to showcase a specific event instead of being chronological all the time!! AND it has been a blessing in disguise to find Terry (the owner) of Creative Cuts & More to supply us with all our mini-needs!!

SO so cute ... the photo's, the theme, the album!!! It's been years since I had s'more's. I had totally forgotten about them. The marshmellow head photo is crackin' me up and I bet your daughter got a kick out of it as well. She is going to cherish this little album as she grows older.
